Getting Started
MaxView Express recognizes three types of users: Originator, Reviewer and Co-Originator; each of whom is respectively provided with the following capabilities:
Originator
- Is solely responsible for initiating and closing the project on MaxView Express, defining who the other participants are and whether they are authorized to define other participants (and how many) themselves,
- Is solely responsible for all MaxView Express charges including those associated with the other participants,
- May transfer the Originator authority to another participant,
- May add or replace/retire documents to the project.
- May access project participant history and billing information on the MaxView Express website.
To Get Started Project Originator’s Must First:
- Obtain a Free Download of MaxView,
- Email the MaxView System ID to MaxView Registration to Obtain a PAYG MaxWebAuthor Authorization (Free),
- Register on the MaxView Express website as an Originator (including acceptance of website Conditions of Use provisions).
Reviewer
- May access the project on the MaxView Express website,
- May preview documents (when available),
- May selectively download individual documents or the entire project to their local PC workstation,
- May use Secure MaxReader to verify document integrity and view image files or view other format files using native format or other tools,
- May perform other viewing, takeoff and printing functions as permitted by Secure MaxReader,
- May update their local version of the project by accessing the MaxView Express website and requesting the latest version.
To Get Started a Reviewer Would:
- Need to obtain a Free Download of MaxView,
- Normally be initially Registered for a project on the MaxView Express website by an Originator and receive an automatic email notification and a direct online link to the project,
- Be required to complete the Registration process (including acceptance of website Conditions of Use provisions) on first entry of the website including creation of a confidential personalized password
Co-Originator
In addition to full Reviewer capabilities, a Co-Originator may add or replace/retire documents to the project.
